India Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Kerala, and South Interior Karnataka and isolated rains in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days.
The weather bulletin issued today has also forecast:
*Heavy rainfall in some places in Kerala on 5th June and over Andaman & Nicobar Islands during 3rd to 6th June.
*Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds over Rajasthan during the next 3 days.
*Heat wave conditions are likely to continue over Bihar and West Bengal & Sikkim during the next 5 days.
*Rise in maximum temperatures by 4-6°C very likely over plains of Northwest India during next 5 days and by 2-3°C over Central India during next 2 days.
