India Meteorological Department has warned of widespread rainfall with spells of isolated heavy rain over Karnataka, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during 22nd to 24th July.
The IMD’s detailed weather bulletin also forecasts:
*Heavy rain over Coastal Karnataka and Rayalaseema during 24th to 26th; over South Interior Karnataka on 22nd, 24th, 26th and over North Interior Karnataka on 22nd & 23rd
*Heavy rain is also expected over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on 23rd July.
*Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Coastal Karnataka on 22nd & 23rd; over South Interior Karnataka on 23rd over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Telangana on 25th & 26th July.
*Isolated Extremely heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Konkan, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra & Gujarat State today (22nd July) and decrease thereafter.
*Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, south Rajasthan and southwest Madhya Pradesh today and decrease thereafter.
