Video footage of the mad rush left everyone bewildered as no one could have imagined that such a huge human wave would flood the stores and cause utter chaos. The mall was open for the public from 11:59 pm on 6 July till the dawn of 7 July.

Videos also showed the mall staff just being swept aside in the mad frenzy and people having a harrowing time. It is fortunate that a stampede did not break out at the event.
