Watch: Strong stream of rainwater gushes into basement of Bengaluru building

Bengaluru was again battered by heavy rain on Wednesday night with flooding reported from several parts of the city. A worried resident of the city staying in a high rise posted a video which shows water gushing into the basement of the building like a river in spate.

With greedy builders having encroached on storm water drains and natural lakes in the city, the natural outlets for the water have been blocked leading to flooding in residential areas and arterial roads turning into rivers.
