Watch: PM Modi flags off 2 Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai

February 10 marks a special day for Mumbai as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two Vande Bharat trains from the city’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminus.

The two trains are new and upgraded versions of Vande Bharat and these will run between Mumbai and Solapur and Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi signifying confluence of faith and progress.

The Solapur train is the ninth Vande Bharat and connects India’s commercial capital with the city of textiles. It will ensure better and quicker connectivity with centres of pilgrimage like Siddheshwar, Akkalkot, Tuljapur, Pandharpur and Alandi.

The other train is 10th in Vande Bharat series and again will provide a boost to travel to important pilgrim centres like Nashik, Trimbakeshwar, Sainagar Shirdi and Shani Singapur.

Vande Bharat 2.0 version has several advanced and new features.
