Watch: Karnataka ex-CM Yediyuruppa’s helicopter aborts landing at last minute in Kalaburgi

The video shows former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyuruppa’s helicopter being forced to abort landing at the last minute in Kalaburgi on Monday. When the pilot comes in to land, suddenly dust and discarded plastic bags start flying around in the air at the helipad. The  pilot then quickly ascends again to get out of trouble as his visibility gets reduced and he cannot see the ground clearly.

Later the helicopter is reported to have made a safe landing after policemen cleared the area of all the garbage and dust.

The BJP leader is expected to undertake a hectic electioneering campaign for the assembly polls in the state.
