Watch:  Indian Coast Guard team rescue 50 workers from rig in rough sea

Committed to keeping the vast coastline of India secure, the Indian Coast Guard also plays a vital role in rescuing people stranded in the high seas. This time, in a brave act, their personnel rescued all the 50 people working on the jack-up rig “Key Singapore” off the coast of Gujarat with cyclone Biparjoy intensifying.

In the visuals shared by ICG on Twitter the viewers get to see an Advanced Light Helicopter Mk-III on a rig amid strong winds as several people walk towards it, shielding themselves in the storm.

Of the 50, ICG evacuated 24 crew members today while 26 were flown to safety yesterday.
