Watch: History made as Tejas lands on INS Vikrant

In a historic first, the Naval variant of the LCA Tejas landed on the deck of the indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant on Monday.

The landing demonstrated India’s capability to design, develop, construct and operate Indigenous Aircraft Carrier with indigenous Fighter Aircraft, said the Indian Navy.

Navy Vice Chief Vice Admiral SN Ghormade labeled the first landings/takeoff on INS Vikrant as “a very historic and landmark achievement”.
