Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer and wildlife enthusiast Susanta Nanda shared a video that showed two men on bike running into a close encounter with a tiger on a road running through a forest.
As long as one doesn’t have a back gear in the bike, use common sense in the back of your mind & drive slow in wild habitats.

The video shows a speeding bike coming down the road when suddenly the riders spot the tiger and come to an abrupt halt and start moving backwards. The tiger after a while moves on much to the relief of the bikers.
The video appears to be shot by someone in a car who has already stopped before the bikers at a greater distance to let the tiger cross.
Mr Nanda’s advice is to drive slowly on forest roads so that such close dangerous encounters can be avoided.
