The distraught national bird continues to follow the two men who are carrying the carcass of its mate to dispose of it in an appropriate manner and in asense is participating in the funeral.</p>

Parveen Kaswan, Indian Forest Service officer shared the video online with the caption:  “The peacock doesn’t want to leave the long-time partner after his death. Touching video,” The incident is from Kuchera in Rajasthan. He also added that the peacocks were living together for four years.</p>
