With mercury plummeting all over northern India, water pipelines have frozen in Kashmir with chunks of ice coming out of them
With entire northern India, including Delhi and the States of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand facing cold conditions, the situation in Kashmir is even more harsh. This is reflected in a video posted on Twitter showing large chunks of ice coming out of a water pipeline.
Video:
The footage shows the pipeline being heated by alighting fire underneath it and when the pipe is opened it spills out ice pieces along with water. One can imagine how tough life is for people living there.
