A video, showing a horrifying incident of a schoolboy falling off an overcrowded bus as it gathers speed and miraculously escaping being crushed by the rear wheels of the vehicle, has gone viral on social media.
The boy is also lucky as there is no other vehicle following closely as he lies on the road.
The terrible incident took place in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu
The short clip shows the bus tilted to the left side because of the excess weight of passengers hanging on at the doorstep.
Moments later, a boy dressed in school uniform falls off and rolls merely inches away from the rear wheels of the bus.
After falling on the ground the boy appears traumatised and it takes him a while to sit up after which he is trying to get up. It is fortunate that he did not end up with a head injury as he landed on the hard road
