A video has gone viral showing Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif fumbling with his earphone and failing in his attempts to get it in place during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit at Samarkand in Uzbekistan.
Sharif then calls one of his aides to fix the earphone for him. However, as he is about to begin the bilateral talks the earphone falls off again eliciting an audible laugh from President Putin who appears quite amused over the episode.
Sharif’s critics back home have highlighted the incident saying a man who cannot even handle his earphones has been chosen as Prime Minister and is proving to be a major embarrassment for the country at an international summit.
