Video: Good cop’s sermon on helmet overwhelms errant bike rider in Madhya Pradesh

A good cop in Madhya Pradesh has come up with an extraordinary way of making errant bike riders realise the importance of wearing a helmet in accordance with traffic rules.

The sub inspector is seen himself carefully placing the helmet on the bike rider’s head while he explains to him the traffic rule that makes it mandatory to wear helmets for ensuring his safety.

His sermon to the errant bike rider is rendered as though it was a religious hymn. It also ends up warning him that the next time he is caught without a helmet he would be fined five times the current account in accordance with the new rules.

The policeman also makes his request with folded hands which leaves the bike rider overwhelmed and he vows to never move out again without wearing his helmet.

The video, posted on Twitter by a user named Jaiky Yadav, with the comment:  “This brother would not have even been addressed with so much respect, at his wedding,” in Hindi.
