Social media indeed has the power to change lives overnight. After video of an elderly couple struggling to run their small dhaba in Delhi's Malviya Nagar went viral, thousands of people from all over the country have come forward to revive their business.
The video of an old man and his wife, who were driven to tears for not being able to do business at their small eatery during the tough times of Covid-19, has been on top of the trending charts since Wednesday.
YouTube blogger Gaurav Wasan had shared the video clip showcasing their plight.
"80 year old couple selling best matar paneer. Inhe hamari help ko bahut zarurat hai," Wasan captioned the Instagram video. Since then #BabaKaDhaba became one of the top trends on Twitter, with people sharing the video on their accounts.
Several Bollywood stars urged people to help the couple revive their establishment.
