Roads turn into rivers as heavy rains lash Bengaluru

Heavy rains have disrupted life in Bengaluru with roads turning into rivers and some people stranded in flooded colonies being rescued by boats, officials said today.

A video shows vehicles crawling on a flooded road and a traffic policeman trying to maintain some semblance of order, while pedestrians struggled to walk.
