PM Modi and Nepalese Prime Minister Prachanda begin bilateral talks in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have begun their bilateral meeting ahead of the delegation-level talks at New Delhi’s Hyderabad House.

Deepening the bonds of friendship and cooperation, PM Modi greeted his Nepalese counterpart as the latter arrived at the Hyderabad House for the key meeting.

Earlier, Prachanda visited the Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

The Nepal PM arrived in the Indian capital on Wednesday, his first overseas visit after the assumption of office.

“The visit will impart renewed momentum to the close and unique India-Nepal relationship,” said the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also called on Nepal PM Wednesday evening.
