With the aim to provide a dedicated outdoor space for pet animals and their parents, the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority has opened its first-of-its-kind dog park in the city.
Built at a cost of R.3.85 crores, the dog park is situated in Sector 137 and is spread over a vast area of 3.85 acres which will allow the animals to stretch, play and stroll.
Several facilities have been provided in this park apart from space to walk around the pets. These include green spaces, proper paths for walking, play area, food court and swimming pool, all dedicated to make the creatures comfortable. For example, what is offered at the food court is based on a proper diet for the animals.
There is a pet clinic also in the premises that will allow the pet parents to get their animals checked.
The boundary walls around the place have been beautified with murals showing dogs wearing goggles.
To take care of the stray animals, Noida has also provided for shelters which can house both big and small creatures.
