In nailing Foreign Destructive Ideology as an international force that is subverting India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared war on a vast network of “humanitarian interventionists” who are trying to achieve grand geopolitical goals under the garb of protecting Human Rights.

During his address to the Rajya Sabha on Monday, PM Modi said: "The nation is making progress and we are talking about FDI but I see that a new FDI has come to the fore. We have to protect the nation from this new FDI. We need Foreign Direct Investment but the new FDI is 'Foreign Destructive Ideology', we have to protect ourselves from it."

PM Modi made his head turning remarks after international cultural celebrities—the flag bearers of a far-left agenda the world over—tweeted their support for the farmers agitation in India, implying that the Modi administrating was denying basic rights to the vast majority of the country’s poor.

Given their history of weaving local events into an international campaign, it is obvious that these global cultural icons and their big brained backers, wish to mainstream the farmers agitation in India in the imagination of manufactured “from below” grassroot revolts and colour revolutions witnessed in Eastern Europe, North Africa and elsewhere.

The idea is to globalise the portrayal of the Modi government as a denier of the basic human rights of India’s poor farmers, who have been conjured up as flagships of a just revolt by the poor and marginalised against a seemingly oppressive state. Finally, the slick projection of a simplistic class rebellion is to be turned into a critical mass of a larger revolt against the state. The plan is to draw, around this core of agitating farmers, most domestic and international forces opposed to the government, which are digitally linked on the social media, and whose message would eventually be also amplified on Over the Top (OTT) media platforms.

There is a background to the international campaign against the Modi administration. It was bugled with much fanfare last year at the World Economic Forum. During the Davos meet in January 2020, war against was Modi was declared by none other than George Soros.

“The biggest and most frightening setback occurred in India where a democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state, imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, a semi-autonomous Muslim region, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship,” he said.

Soros is no ordinary billionaire. The Hungarian born “philanthropist” runs a soft power machine. Soros emits his message targeting several “unliked” sovereign governments with digitally driven grassroots movements from his network of Open Society Foundations and a string of global NGO’s, under the garb of fostering democracy and human rights. He is a major contributor to Human Rights Watch, which has backed the farmers’ protests.

Soros’ association with the Bilderberg group has been widely reported. In his review of David Estulin’s 2005 book, “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group,” Stephen Lendman quotes the author as saying that in 1954, “the most powerful men in the world met for the first time” in Oosterbeek, Netherlands, “debated the future of the world,” and decided to meet annually in secret. They called themselves the Bilderberg Group with a membership representing a who’s who of world power elites, mostly from America, Canada, and Western Europe with familiar names like David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Bill Clinton, Gordon Brown, Angela Merkel, Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, Larry Summers, Tim Geithner, Lloyd Blankfein, George Soros, Donald Rumsfeld, Rupert Murdoch, other heads of state, influential senators, congressmen and parliamentarians, Pentagon and NATO brass, members of European royalty, (and) selected media figures….

In setting up its global agenda—which essentially has the formation of UN apexed super-state governed by a global elite of the super-rich and powerful, protected by a world army as the end-game—Estulin points out that the Bilderbergers draw heavily from personnel as well as ideas generated by Centre on Foreign Relations (CFR) in the United States and the Trilateral Commission. The Trilateral Commission is a non-governmental, nonpartisan discussion group founded by David Rockefeller in July 1973 to foster closer cooperation between Japan, Western Europe and North America.

In his Memoirs, David Rockefeller, a Bilderberg icon discloses his “one world” ambition ideated by a “secret cabal”. “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States characterising my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Co-founder of the Trilateral Commission and former national security adviser to President Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski in his book Between Two Ages – America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, further elaborated on the One World idea. He spotlighted that “people, governments and economies of all nations must serve the needs of multinational banks and corporations. (The Constitution is) inadequate…. the old framework of international politics, with their sphere of influence…. the fiction of sovereignty….is clearly no longer compatible with reality….”

In his writings and lectures after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Brzezinski has openly pontificated on the necessity of deploying Human Rights as a tool to achieve larger geopolitical goals from a moral high ground. Once a country is labelled as a violator, international sanctions and worse may follow. This is key to establishing and consolidating a unipolar world, in tune with the “end of history” thesis of American scholar Francis Fukuyama.

Interestingly bleeding-heart radical, Rihanna has also acknowledged that she is no stranger to the Bilderberg group. In July 2011, she held a 15-minute press conference where she reportedly pointed to rumours and postings on the internet about her involvement in the powerful, secret global society, The Illuminati, and that she practices Voodoo. It is during this media conference that she acknowledged her association with the Bilderberg group. “The facts speak for themselves, and my talent speaks for itself. I’m not a party in any way to some all-powerful secret society somehow fixing the fate of the world behind closed doors for nefarious ends. That’s just nonsense. But to answer your other questions, yes I did attend the Bilderberg Conference last week in Switzerland.”

The two Bilderbergers, Rihanna and Soros, have come together during the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, seemingly in a humanitarian mission to combat the health disaster across the globe.

Soros’ Open Society Foundations, pledged $130 million globally as an initial step not only to combat the coronavirus crisis but also to safeguard political freedoms in the time of a health and economic crisis. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, released $6.2 million. Twitter and Square CEO, Jack Dorsey who has backed Rihanna’s tweet on the famers’ agitation has also been part of the celebrity campaign against Covid-19.

Rihanna has now been joined by several other names in the twitter soft-power empire including porn-star Miya Khalifa, and poster boys for the National Basketball Association.

The engagement of famous cultural icons to achieve geopolitical objective riding on safeguarding Human Rights is not new. For instance, Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie visited Libya after the regime change in Libya was achieved in 2011 following the brutal overthrow of Muammar Gadhafi. During her visit, Jolie openly expressed support for the rebels and pledged support for the Arab Spring.

"I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level and to witness efforts to fully realise the promise of the Arab Spring.” She added: "The country faces a host of challenges, including internally displaced people, refugees, rule of law, security, sanitation, education, health and other humanitarian needs.” Contrary to Jolie’s syrupy utterings, Libya, an energy rich powerhouse, and once pride of Africa, is today classic example of a failed state.

PM Modi’s robust riposte against the pall bearers of Foreign Destructive Ideology, now needs to be followed up by a grand strategy to weed out root and branch the menace that is squarely and transparently targeting India.

Three pillars of an aggressive countercampaign may now need to be established.

First, it is important to understand the “enemy”. India today is battling a vast network of powerful individuals, corporations, financiers, think tanks, foundations, NGO’s, big names in the international media, and glamour icons that are hiding behind secret societies such as the Bilderberg group, and which have seamlessly penetrated influential global institutions.

Second, to launch an effective and impactful countercampaign, it is important to dig deep and project on an industrial scale, the unique, universal and inclusive values of the Indian civilizational state. A civilization with more than a 5,000-year history has copious reserves of soft-power, which now need to be vigorously and skilfully deployed by mastering digital tools of the information age.

Third, a dialogue and partnership of select civilizational states to anchor a strong multipolar world that demolishes monopolisation of global power, including soft power, by a tiny self-serving “ruling elite,” may be necessary to hound out, and eventually defeat in this long war, the founders of Foreign Destructive Ideology.
