A 50-year-old man was murdered and his body was found stuffed in a refrigerator at his house in the Seelampur area of Delhi on Friday night, police said.

According to the police, a woman informed them on Friday around 7.15 pm that her relative was not responding to phone calls.

When she reached the house, she found him dead in the fridge. Police reached the spot and found the body stuffed in the refrigerator, a senior police officer said. The man was identified as Zakir.

Initial investigation has revealed that he was living alone in the house, while his wife and children were living separately at a distance, police said.

Police said that were working on clues to nab the suspect in the murder. Further investigation is underway.
