A man in Karnataka who found a missing pet parrot, has been given a reward of Rs 85,000 by the grateful owners.</p>

The owners, Arjun and his wife Ranjana, had announced a Rs 50,000 reward for whoever found their African parrot named Rustam which went missing on July 16.</p>

However, they were so overjoyed on getting their pet back that they increased the reward money by another Rs 35,000 and also distributed sweets in the locality.</p>
<p>
The parrot flew away from its house in Karnataka&#39;s Tumakuru and eventually landed on the terrace of a house 3 km away.</p>
<p>
Since the owners had launched a poster campaign in the city about the missing pet, Srinivas, the man who found the parrot came to know about them and returned the pet the next day.</p>
<p>
Srinivas said the parrot was very weak when he found it and he had nursed it back to good health.</p>
