Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar alias Malik Sardar Singh was gunned down by two unidentified gunmen in Johar Town, Lahore in Pakistan this morning.
Panjwar was a pronounced terrorist and was attacked by two bike borne men while on a morning walk near his house in Sunflower Society in Johar Town. He was then accompanied by his gunman who also was injured and currently is critical in hospital. Pakistani law enforcement agencies are yet to issue a statement about the accused. It may be noted that Panjwar was believed to be at the helm of drugs and smuggling in India’s Punjab and topped the most wanted list.
Paramjit was born in Panjwar village near Taran Taran. He joined the KCF after being radicalized by his cousin Labh Singh in 1986, prior to which he was working in a Central Cooperative Bank in Sohal. He rose in ranks after the elimination of Labh Singh in 1990 and fled to Pakistan. While the Pakistani government denied his presence in their country, it was well known that he was runnin cross border smuggling from Lahore.
Kanwarpal Singh, leader of Dal Khalsa has confirmed the death. Dal Khalsa had published a picture of Panjwar on Nankshahi calendar released by it in 2020.
