Kerala retail chain owner gifts new Mercedes to loyal staffer of 22 years

In a grand gesture, the owner of a retail chain in Kerala has given a new Mercedes Benz SUV worth Rs 45 lakh to an employee as a gift for his loyalty and hard work.</p>

AK Shaji, who owns myG, a retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances said he has given the Mercedes as a gift to his staffer CR Anish as he has been "a pillar of support" for him for over 22 years.</p>

In an Instagram video, Shaji said, "Ani has been with me for the last 22 years even before I started myG. He is a strong pillar and a mainstay for me. He has never disappointed me. His brotherly affection and immense focus and dedication towards work supported me a lot. I consider Anish as a partner and not an employee."</p>
<p>
Two years ago also he had gifted cars to six of his employees and is reported to have rewarded his staffers with tickets to foreign trips as well.</p>
