FIR filed against Kolkata firm for running porn clip on Patna station video

Passengers at Patna railway station came in for a major shock after the video screens installed on the platforms for showing train timings played a porn clip n instead of the usual advertisements on Sunday.

An FIR has been lodged against the Kolkata-based private company operating the electronic displays that carry the timing of trains and Indian Railways has cancelled the contract of the firm.

The incident took place at around 9.30 am on platform number 10 on Sunday and when the pornographic clip was screened on the electronic display for almost 3 minutes instead of the usual ads that are displayed along with the train timings.

As complaints poured in,  railway officials switched off power to the screens. The employee of the company is reported to have fled after the incident.

An investigation has been launched and officials of the company have been summoned to Patna.
