An air hostess and her husband got into an altercation with a family at a restaurant in Jaipur and were arrested after they smashed the windshield of the family’s car in a fit of rage.

According to the police, six people were arrested in connection with the incident.

Prachi Singh, her husband and another couple with them were under the influence of alcohol when they got into an argument with a family at the restaurant on Wednesday.

After coming out of the restaurant, Prachi Singh allegedly smashed the windshield of the car belonging to the family with a beer bottle.

"A case was registered against Singh, husband Kartik Chaudhary and their friends Vikas Khandelwal and Neha after the family lodged a complaint. The four were arrested and produced before a court. They are out on bail," said police inspector Gunjan Soni.

Police also arrested Vishal Dubey and Arya from the family involved in the altercation for breach of peace. They are also out on bail.

The matter is being investigated, police said.
