Delhi airport issues fog alert for flyers

The Delhi Airport on Tuesday issued an alert for passengers owing to dense fog.

“Low visibility procedures are in progress at Delhi Airport. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information,” read the passenger advisory from Delhi Airport. However, all flight operations are presently normal.

According to the weather office, the temperature in the national capital will hover between five and 22 degree Celsius.

Mumbai will have a clear sky. The minimum temperature will be around 18 degree Celsius while the maximum is expected to be around 32 degrees.

Chennai will witness mist in the morning and partly cloudy sky later. The temperature will vary between 24 and 31 degree Celsius.

In Kolkata, there will be fog in the morning and partly cloudy sky later. The city will observe a minimum of 11 degrees Celsius and a maximum of around 23 degrees.

Srinagar will have a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will hover between minus seven and 3 degree Celsius.
