An Indian couple was arrested as 45 pistols worth Rs 22.5 lakh were found in their baggage by customs officials at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.</p>

The two arrested have been identified as Jagjit Singh and his wife Jaswinder Kaur who arrived in Delhi on a flight from Vietnam.</p>

&quot;Ballistics reports will confirm whether the guns are real or not… but, in a preliminary report, NSG (National Security Guard, the country&#39;s elite counter-terrorism unit) has confirmed that the guns are fully functional and can be used,&quot; ANI new agency cited a senior official as saying.</p>

Both the accused have admitted that they had previously brought 25 pistols to India from Turkey.</p>
