Caught on Camera: Rooster thief gets trapped in leopard’s cage

In a hilarious incident, a large metal cage kept in a village by forest department officials to catch a leopard who had strayed into the inhabited area, threw up a major surprise. A man who had come to steal the rooster kept in the cage found to his horror that the door had suddenly snapped shut.

The video shows that when forest department officials arrived the “rooster thief” was stuck in the green cage and can be heard asking them to let him out.

The man entered the cage to take a rooster, which was kept as a bait for the leopard, Forest Department officials told news agency ANI.

“We set up the cage to trap to leopard after we got information the animal has been wandering around. We searched for the leopard for some time before we decided to set up the cage,” Forest Department officer Radheshyam told ANI.
