Case lodge against 11 sanitizer brands for poor quality

<p class="p1">Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij yesterday said cases have been filed against 11 sanitizer brands after samples of them, collected from across the state, failed quality standards.</p>
<p class="p1">He said 248 samples were collected, out of which test reports of 123 samples have been received. A notice has also been issued to suspend or cancel their licenses.</p>
<p class="p1">"Out of the total reports received, 14 have failed the tests. Nine brands were found substandard, while five were found to use an excessive quantity of methanol," Vij told the media.</p>
<p class="p1">He said instructions have been given to seize the entire stock of the brands concerned.</p>.
