Captured on camera: E-rickshaw carrying firecrackers for Jagannath Yatra explodes, man dies

One person was killed while another is battling for life in hospital after an e-rickshaw carrying firecrackers for the Jagannath Yatra exploded in NCR’s Greater Noida on Monday.

CCTV footage from a nearby shop captured the tragic incident showing the e-rickshaw going up in flames amid loud explosions with scared people running for cover.

The explosion was triggered after a cracker that was set off during the yatra fell on the e-rickshaw carrying crackers for the procession’s fireworks.
