Chandigarh: The anti-India miscreants, this time around, crafted a new method to escape detection while vandalising a Hindu temple in Mississauga city of Ontario in Canada. After the despicable act, they released a statement on the forged letterhead of the desecrated ‘Ram Mandir’ blaming none other than the Hindus themselves.
The text on the fake letterhead reads, “frustrated Hindu men…disgusted by Modi’s role in the genocide of Muslims and…as proven by a BBC documentary… after watching the documentary…we regret that these Hindus have done such an act as there is a feeling of betrayal of minorities….” This letter mentions the name of temple priest Pandit Badri Prasad at the bottom. The letter does not carry any signatures.
Later the priest Badri Prasad did not name anyone for the mischief but sent a message of peace and universal love while talking to a local Punjabi-origin journalist.
As fingers were raised at the radical Sikh groups, the Ontario Gurdwara Committee (OGC), controlled by radical separatists, announced a reward of $10000 to a person who informs the police to arrest the suspect involved in vandalism.
Viewing vandalism as an act of mischief, the committee somehow interprets, “…the Sikh community at large is concerned…these acts of vandalism may have been carried out on the directions of Indian intelligence agencies to sow discord in Canada and malign the Sikh community….”
A spokesperson of a Canadian Hindu organisation working to protect the heritage and safeguard harmony while talking to indianarrative.com on the phone said, “In the recent past 4 temples in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) were desecrated by Hindu haters. For the first time Prime Minister Narendra Modi was targeted, demanding he be declared a ‘terrorist’. The graffiti also says, “Hindustan Murdabad.”
The controversial militant Sikh leader Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was declared a “martyr.” The police failed to arrest those responsible for all such acts of vandalism in Canada.
The spokesperson said, “the anti-India forces are suffering from Hindu phobia trying to provoke us but we will not respond in a manner similar to theirs, though we are capable of, in the larger interest of our motherland and Indian expatriates.”
Earlier on January 30 Gauri Shankar Temple was desecrated by anti-Hindu forces. The local police enhanced police patrol in the area but failed to arrest anybody.
Meanwhile, the Peel police have launched an investigation into the Mississauga incident assuring the Hindu community the culprits will be soon brought to book.
