Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will pay a State Visit to India from September 5 to 8, further strengthening the multifaceted relationship between the two countries based on strong historical and cultural ties and mutual trust and understanding.
Hasina last visited New Delhi in October 2019.
During her visit, the Bangladesh PM will call on President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar and hold bilateral consultations with PM Narendra Modi. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will also call on the Bangladeshi PM.
Sheikh Hasina is also likely to visit Ajmer during her India visit.
In recent years, both sides have sustained a high level of engagement, including at the highest level.
