An Indian Army Cheetah helicopter on its way to a team of Border Security Force personnel crashed near the Line of Control or LoC in north Kashmir's Gurez Sector today. The BSF personnel were unwell and the helicopter was on its way to pick them up.

The chopper crash took place near Gujran Nallah in Gurez Sector in Jammu and Kashmir&#39;s Bandipora district. It is very close to the Line of Control, officials said.</p>

The cause of the crash was not known immediately, officials said, adding that the pilot and co-pilot were in the helicopter. The officials further said that the area is completely snowed out.</p>
<p>
Rescue teams have been despatched on foot while air reconnaissance teams are looking for survivors.</p>
