Angry teacher in Delhi govt school throws Class 5 girl from first floor

An angry teacher threw a Class 5 girl student from the first floor of a government school in Delhi today causing severe injuries to the child who has been admitted to hospital in a critical state.

The teacher, Gita Deshwal, allegedly attacked Vandana, the girl student, with a pair of scissors in a fit of rage before flinging her down from the first floor classroom. She has been arrested for the horrific crime.

Another teacher, Riya, reportedly tried to intervene and stop her colleague from beating the child but she was pushed aside.

The incident took place at around 11.15 am in the Delhi Nagar Nigam Balika Vidyalaya.

When the girl fell to the ground, the school staff called the police, who took the severely injured child to the Bara Hindu Rao hospital.
