Blazing fire in Secundrabad led to death of 11 workers
<p>
Eleven workers were charred to death in a massive fire that broke out in a scrap godown at Secunderabad in Telangana in the wee hours on Wednesday morning.</p>
<p>
Most of these victims are reported to be migrant labourers from Bihar. Two of the workers managed to escape and one of them has been admitted to a hospital. The 13 men were working in the godown on the ground floor and were living on the first floor. They were caught unawares as the incident occurred at around 4 am in the morning when they were fast asleep.</p>
<p>
While the exact reason for the blaze is still not known, the fire was accompanied by a LPG cylinder blast.</p>
<p>
Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas visited the spot and said that an investigation has been ordered into the tragedy. Help would be extended to the families of the victims, he added.</p>
