<p>
A 10-year-old boy got choked to death in Delhi as a stunt that he was trying with a skipping rope went horribly wrong.</p>
<p>
The boy&rsquo;s mother reportedly told the police that the boy was fond of watching stunts online on the smartphone. The incident took place in the Kartar Nagar area of Northeast Delhi on Wednesday night.</p>
<p>
The mother told the police that her son had watched a video on her phone and wanted to try the stunt. However, the skipping rope got wrapped around his neck and suffocated him. She found him lying on the ground later.</p>
<p>
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared &quot;brought dead.&quot; The hospital informed the police about the incident.</p>
<p>
The boy&rsquo;s father works at an electronics factory and was not at home at the time of the incident. The mother is a homemaker.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
Police said since it is an incident of accidental death, no case has been registered and the required proceedings have been initiated under Section 174 of the CrPC.</p>
