Over two crore children in the 15-18 age group have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in less than a week since the vaccination drive for them started on Jan 3, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday.</p>

&quot;Great Going, my Young Friends. Over 2 crore youngsters between the 15-18 age group have received their first dose of COVID19 vaccine in less than a week of vaccination drive for children,&quot; Union Health Minister said while noting that the drive has been progressing rapidly.</p>

With the administration of more than 90 lakh vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India&#39;s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 150.61 crores till 7 am on Saturday.</p>

So far, 90 per cent of the country&rsquo;s entire adult population has been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine dose while over 65% has received both doses.</p>
