India&rsquo;s cumulative vaccination coverage at the end of Friday crossed the 50 crore milestone with more than 43.29 lakh doses being administered during the day, union health ministry figures show.</p>

In a significant achievement for the accelerated inoculation programme more than half of India&rsquo;s 94 crore adult population as received at least one shot of the Covid-19 vaccine.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
Five States namely Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have administered more than 1 crore cumulative doses of Covid-19 vaccine in the age group 18-44 years. Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have vaccinated more than 10 lakh beneficiaries of the age group 18-44 years for the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.</p>
