<p>
As many as 206 kidney stones were removed from a 56-year-old man in a Hyderabad hospital by doctors who performed a key-hole surgery on the patient.</p>
<p>
He had been suffering from pain for the last six months and was taking medicines which only provided him temporary relief.</p>
<p>
The debilitating ailment, however, continued to impact his daily routine, and he was not able to carry out his work properly.</p>
<p>
Doctors at the Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital removed the stones from the kidneys of Veeramalla Ramalakshmaiah, a resident of Nalgonda.</p>
<p>
Dr Poola Naveen Kumar, Senior Consultant Urologist at the hospital, said, &quot;Initial investigations and an ultrasound scan revealed the presence of multiple left renal caliculi&nbsp;and the same was reconfirmed with CT Kub scan.&quot;</p>
<p>
The doctor said the patient was counselled and prepped for a keyhole surgery that lasted one hour, during which all stones were removed.</p>
