<p>
Delhi reported 86 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the highest in five months, which is a worrying figure as the numbers have started to steadily rise amid a worldwide alert over the heavily mutated Omicron variant.</p>

The positivity rate – the share of COVID-19 tests that come back positive – stood at 0.13 per cent.</p>
<p>
There are currently 484 active COVID-19 patients in Delhi with 203 in home isolation.</p>
<p>
Meanwhile, 7,145 new cases of COVID-19 were reported nationwide in the last 24 hours, figures compiled by the Union Health Ministry showed.</p>
<p>
India&rsquo;s active caseload is presently at 84,565. This is the lowest in 569 days.</p>
<p>
The vaccination drive against COVID-19 in the country is also progressing at a steady drive with 62,06,244 doses being administered in the last 24 hours. This takes the total vaccination coverage past the 136.66 crore mark.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
More than 90% adults in India have now been administered at least one vaccine dose while over 50% have got both the doses.&nbsp;</p>
