The daily count of fresh Covid-19 cases in Delhi surged past the 2,000 mark for the first time after six months on Wednesday, with five patients reported dead due to coronavirus.</p>

According to the daily bulletin shared by the health department, the national capital recorded a single-day rise of 2,073 cases on Wednesday with a positivity rate of 11.64 per cent. This is the highest since January 24 when it was 11.79 per cent.</p>
