India had reported 5,476 new infections on Sunday. The country&#39;s active caseload currently stands at 54,118.</p>
<p>
The number of deaths due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours was estimated at 66.</p>
<p>
Although the fresh COVID-19 cases witnessed a dip since yesterday, the daily positivity rate edged up a wee bit to 0.71 per cent from 0.60 per cent on Sunday. The weekly positivity rate is 0.73 per cent.</p>

As many as 6,12,926 tests for coronavirus were also conducted in the last 24 hours which shows that the country is not letting its guard down in order to detect cases early.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
Meanwhile, the number of doses administered in the ongoing vaccination drive against COVID-19 has gone up to 178.90 crore since the campaign started in mid-January last year.</p>
