Caught on Camera: Congress leader Digvijay Singh’s speeding SUV rams into biker

Congress leader and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh’s speeding Fortuner SUV rammed into a biker in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh on Thursday causing serious injuries to the 20-year-old youngster.

CCTV footage of the accident shows the motorcyclist taking a U-turn on a narrow road when the speeding car hits him head-on. The motorcycle is crushed by the car and the rider is flung into the air and hits a pole on the side of the road.

The video also shows Digvijay Singh getting out of the car and rushing to the help the victim who was taken to the hospital.

He is reported to have been referred to a hospital in Bhopal for a CT scan as he sustained a head injury. His condition is reported to be stable.

The driver of the Fortuner car, Akhtar Khan, has been arrested. Digvijay Singh left for Bhopal in another car.
