The Telangana government will partner with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is going to organise ‘Make in Telangana', a mega virtual seminar and demonstration with the theme — 'Invest in Telangana: Opportunities in Post-Covid'.
From August 27-28, a two day seminar will be organised by the state goverment and CII. A 90-day digital exhibition has also been scheduled between August 27 and November 24. The goal of this initiative is to discover investment possibilities and new partnerships.
The conference will be addressed by business leaders within the country and outside. They are expected to discuss the way forward, opportunities and challenges in crucial sectors including IT, pharma, textiles, electric vehicles, food processing, aerospace and defence, retail and infrastructure.
'Make in Telangana' aims to showcase the strengths and opportunities of the state, products and services of the Industries from Telangana. The event helps to build new partnerships, collaborations and explore national and international investment through high level networking and structured B2B (business to business) and B2G (business to government) meetings, the government said.
Life sciences, IT & electronics, aerospace & defence, food processing, automobile, textiles and apparel among other will be the key focus areas. A roadmap for other sectors such as chemical, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), domestic appliances, engineering and capital goods, gems and Jewellery will also be chalked out.
