India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh today (30th May).
Widespread rainfall has been forecast in Kerala and scattered rainfall over South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days.
IMD has also forecast:
* Widespread rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning & occasional gusty winds very likely over Northwest India till 1st June and decrease thereafter. In Himachal Pradesh during 30th May-01st June and over Uttarakhand during 30th May-2nd June.
*Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into Bay of Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
*Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon during the next 2-3 days.
