Watch: Zion Clark – The Fastest Man On Two Hands!

After watching the video for the first few seconds one is stunned on realising that the person sprinting on the track is not running but using his two muscular hands to sprint. This is USA’s Zion Clark, a multifaceted personality – an actor, athlete and author who now figures in the Guinness World Record for achieving the record for the fastest 20 metres walking on hands.

Clark recorded a fantastic timing of 4.78 seconds at his former high school gym in Ohio’s Massillon this year. Commenting on his record he exclaimed: "Before I knew it, I had crossed the finish line! A rush of euphoria surged through my body as the official timer called out 4.78 seconds!"

Born with a rare condition called Caudal Regression Syndrome which results in abnormal development of the lower end of the spine, Clark underwent two different surgeries to be able to sit up straight.

School too was difficult as he was badly teased and bullied. Yet, he persisted and not only made some great friends but also got good grades. Introduced to wrestling in elementary school he became an incredible wrestler in high school.

Always aiming high, Clark wants to become the first American athlete to compete in both the Olympic in wrestling and Paralympic in wheelchair racing games in 2024.

Clark’s message to the specially abled is: "The message I would give to kids with disabilities or anyone with a disability would be – It’s going to be hard, but if you’ve got the heart and the determination, you can go get what’s yours. If you’re disabled or you’re not disabled, the message stays the same."
