Virat Kohli surpassed Chris Gayle’s record for the most IPL centuries with his 7th 100 for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL match versus Gujarat Titans at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. Kohli reached the century mark off 60 balls with 13 fours and one six as he has regained his brilliant form.
This was his second consecutive century in the IPL tournament making him only the third batter to achieve the awesome feat after Jos Buttler and Shikhar Dhawan.
His innings took RCB to 197 with the other RCB batters putting up a dismal show as none of them could reach the 30-run mark in the must-win match that they lost.
