India beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the first ODI of the series with Kohli being adjudged Player of the Match.
In a special conversation for BCCI, he was interviewed by Suryakumar Yadav after the game.

Having gone through the long journey himself, Kohli told Yadav that expectations will rise from him as he continues to excel with the bat.
“I can see the crowd when you go out to bat. There is always genuine love from them because of the way you have been playing. Now people have started to look at you differently. Keeping up with that is an extremely intense process,” he said.
