WATCH: Ruturaj Gaikwad smashes 7 sixes in an over to create new world record

Maharashtra opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed seven consecutive sixes in an over in the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarter-final against Uttar Pradesh to create a new world record.

The seventh six came as there was one no-ball in the over which was also hit out of the ground.

The hard-hitting batsman came up with an unbeaten 220-run knock which enabled Maharashtra to post a mammoth 330 runs on the board in the 50 overs.
