To feed his children, Rajesh the rickshaw p;uller holds his one-year-old baby in one hand while pedalling
Forced by adverse circumstances, a father continues to fulfil his duties towards his children and doing this precisely is Rajesh, a rickshaw puller in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur who ferries passengers while holding his one-year-old baby son in one arm! His video has been posted on Twitter.
Video:
Hailing from Bihar, Rajesh has to bring up his two children – a daughter and son — without any support system as his wife deserted him leaving the kids behind. He moved to Jabalpur from Bihar 10 years ago in search of work. Here he fell in love with a woman from Seoni district’s Kanhargaon village and the two got married and had a girl and a boy.
As the children are without their mother, Rajesh takes care of them. His five-year-old daughter sits at the bus stop while the other stays with him during his work.
Users on seeing the footage reacted very emotionally. Many came forward to help him. Some suggested crowdfunding for his children while some said he should be provided with an e-rickshaw.
